What I drank last night: a selection of charming and polished white wines from the Collio region of the extreme north east of Italy, right up against the Slovenian and Austrian Alps, in the company of a group of equally charming producers.

They were in the US to promote their delicious wines which don’t garner nearly the recognition they deserve. While some of the wines were more aromatic and some more floral, all were balanced, elegant and an utter delight.
